Fun Creations Tumble

Fun Creations Tumble

This week, the senior syndicate started a Fun Creations tumble. On the tumble there were set tasks for everyone to do. The tasks were making an origami frog, a marshmallow tower, making a play dough insect, cutting patterns, making butter, plasticine characters, pavement art, lego place and paper planes. My favourite activity was pavement art. I collaborated with Abigail to make a huge earth using chalk. Judging by the fact that we had never learnt geography, I think we did pretty well. I also liked the marshmallow maths activity because we got to eat the marshmallows in the end.
I think that we should do more activities like this because it was really fun and we actually learnt stuff.

Futsal for P.E

Futsal for P.E

For P.E this term, we are doing Futsal. If you didn't know, futsal is technically indoor football with a smaller pitch and it has less players. Our coach's name is Kingsley and he taught us a few fun games. One of the game were when we had to dribble the ball around the room. When Kingsley said "Freeze!" we had to put one foot on the ball and freeze. If we didn't freeze we had to do star jumps or push ups. If he said to stop the ball with any body part we had to do so. He also might say a number, and you had to get into a group with that many people. If you weren't able to do any of these mentioned, you would have to do push ups.

We also played some games of futsal. The teams were bibs and non-bibs. Each team had around eleven to twelve people in it, and each person had a number. If Kingsley called out "11" the people with  number 11 would have to go in and play with the ball.
I had a lot of fun in these sessions and I learnt a lot.
